A festive evening gala marked by generosity and hope

Intro text:

On 4 October, BIG against breast cancer has organised its 6th annual gala dinner at Cercle de Lorraine in Brussels.

The vibrant colours of the matryoshka dolls, the joyful music of gypsies and the atmosphere of an autumn evening in St Petersburg set the tone of our new edition.

Joyful gypsy music, exceptional gifts and unique experiences auctioned, beautiful prizes raffled, our 300 guests enjoyed a very special evening in support of breast cancer research.

Thanks to our guests, sponsors and partners, we raised € 315,000, which will contribute to support our clinical study the BIG Radio-Tuning. That study is looking at sparing breast cancer patients from unnecessary radiotherapy without increasing the risk of relapse. Nearly 1 in every 2 patients diagnosed will benefit from that promising study.

The profits of our gala night will enable to fund the participation of 55 patients.

We would like to warmly thank once more all our supporters for the difference they are making over the years thanks to their unconditional support.
